An incredible night celebrating the very best of Manchester’s hospitality, food and drink scene 🍽️💛
The Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards were a brilliant reminder of what makes this city so special. A room full of passionate people, independent businesses, and a scene that continues to grow stronger, more creative and more ambitious every year.
Huge thanks to SH Comms for asking us to get involved. We were proud to sponsor the Independent Food Producer of the Year award, and massive congratulations to Pollen Bakery on the win. A true Manchester institution, and a perfect example of the craft, consistency and care that defines the city’s food scene.
It has been an incredibly challenging few years for many industries, but hospitality in particular has faced relentless pressure. And yet, it continues to show up, shaping neighbourhoods, bringing people together, and giving Manchester so much of its character.
Without our restaurants, bars, pubs, cafés, bakeries and music venues, this city has no soul. They are as much a part of Manchester’s identity as its music heritage or its industrial history, and they are a huge reason why people choose to live here and keep coming back.
It was a privilege to be part of the night and to help capture a glimpse of the celebrations. A proper celebration of a city and an industry that deserves far more recognition than it gets.
