🎉 Coolbox Video Studio Turns 10 🎬

Today marks 10 years of Coolbox. A decade of storytelling, creativity and community, all proudly built in Manchester.

Founded in 2016 as an independent video studio, Coolbox has grown into an award-winning production company working with some of the world’s most recognised brands, while staying rooted in the North West.

Over the past decade, we’ve created content for global names including Johnnie Walker, MTV UK, Paramount, HSBC, Barclays, Facebook, PayPal, The National Lottery and Coca-Cola. Our productions have taken us across Europe, filming in Spain, France, Ireland and Germany, bringing international scale to a Manchester-based team.

Along the way, our work has been recognised with a win at the Pink Lady® Europe Food Photographer of the Year for ‘Send Noods’ with G6 MoCo – G6 Motion Control and multiple nominations at the Prolific North Awards. We have also been proud sponsors of the MIMAs and the Manchester Food & Drink Awards, supporting the hospitality and creative sectors that make this city special.

When COVID hit, we adapted quickly, evolving production models and launching ‘Open Doors’ to support hospitality businesses during an uncertain time. Since then, we have continued to grow, building city-centre podcast studios and launching REC:MCR live creative events with Triangle Facilities Hub to bring the creative community together.

From brand campaigns and broadcast content to documentaries and hospitality storytelling, the last 10 years have been shaped by brilliant clients, collaborators and an exceptional team.
